Trap Shooting League

shoot as many rounds as you like
over the two month period,
your score will be your best 10 trap
and best 5 wobble trap.
Lewis scoring system
so even beginners can win a cash prize.
Ten dollars to join the league,
which is open to both members and non-members.

$100 Handicap Trap Challenge:
We have an ongoing $100 trap challenge
for the first perfect score at handicap yardages.
Current challenge distance is 24 yards.
Open to Members Only.

Strive for Twenty Five:
Win a cash prize for the first 25 straight
using a non-12 gauge shotgun.
No one in club history has scored a 25 straight with anything other than a 12 gauge.
Dust off that 16, 20, .410 or even your mighty 10 gauge
and try your luck.
Of course, standard velocity trap loads only.
Entry fee is $1 per round (in addition to clay/ammo cost),
declare the round before you shoot.

Junior Trap Price Reduction:
Juniors 16 and under shoot trap for half price until further notice.
Junior must be the child/grandchild of a member
or be a junior member themselves.

40 - 3/8SIZE STEEL TARGETS
10chickens @ 25 yards
10 pigs@ 50 yards
10turkeys @ 75 yards
10 rams@ 100 yards
20seconds to load, 2.5 minutes for each 5 shot string
ANY .22LR RIFLE ALLOWED
ALL SHOTS FIRED FROM OFFHAND POSITION ONLY
NO SHOOTING AIDS ALLOWED
SHOOTERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SET TARGETS.
CLASSES: Iron Sight and Scope
AMMUNITION:
.22 Long Rifle only, no hyper velocity or 22 magnum
SAFETY:
Eye and ear protection are mandatory on the firing line and are the responsibility of each entrant.
Open bolt indicators are required and will be
provided.
Accidental discharges– shooter will be asked to cease fire and at the discretion of the Range Officer
may be asked to leave the firing line.
