Junior Air Rifle Training

The Maspenock Junior Air Rifle Program is for any resident or surrounding towns between the ages of 12 and 18.

Commenting on the program James Cadwell, a field representative of the NRA,
says "The activity builds confidence and teaches self-displine."

Students recieve the same basic classroom trainng as
our small bore training progam
on safety and proper handling of firearms.

Anyone interested must get parental consent and complete training
and a written test before setting foot on the range with a firearm.
Safety is always at the forefront of Maspenock programs.

On Tuesday, December 9th 2008 an awards ceremony was held at Maspenock to present
USA Shooting Medals to the top three Sporter Air Rifle shooters from the CMP 3P Massachusetts State Championship
held November 2008.
Maureen Trickett the state CMP director made the trip from Reading Ma
to make the medal presentations to three juniors in our shooting program.

This is a true representation of the success of our FNRA grant monies spent on our junior education program,
which we offer to juniors in our local communities.
