Maspenock Rod & Gun Club

Maspenock has over 350 members and welcomes more new members at each monthly meeting.
Our monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at 7:00pm.

After joining members recieve the privilege of use of the club areas at their convience from 9:00am until 9:00pm or can join in on any of our group activities such as:
Pistol Team Competitions
Archery Shoots & Competitions
Trap Shoots & Competitions
Fishing Derbies
Pig Roast 		Club Dinners
NRA Rifle Qualification Shoots
USRA Pistol Shoots
Service Rifle Clinic
Clam Bake
Our Clubhouse is also open Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons with the bar open for members to be able to get together.
It takes club members working together to make the club a success and a place we can all enjoy.
We request that members become active on one of our committees, attend our monthly meetings and
join us on the second Saturday of each month to help out with projects at the club.

A spouse (being husband/wife) of a full member may join for an additional $30.00 fee.Which grants the spouse with full membership.

Applications can be picked up from the box inside our clubhouse entry way or downloaded and printed from this website.
Applications for membership will be accepted with sponsorship from a member in good standing.
Applicant must be 18 years or older.
Applicant must hold any of the following;
  1. -FID card
  2. -Mass.hunting or fishing license
  3. -Mass pistol permit
All new members are required to work on (3) three work details at the club, during their first year of membership:
All new members will be considered to be on probation for a period of one year from the date of acceptance into the membership.
If a new member fails to meet the above requirement the new member will be denied the renewal of his membership unless the application fee is once more paid.
On the date that the second application fee is paid, the probation period will start again, with the member again being considered a new member with respect to needing to fulfill the above requirement.
This process will repeat yearly until the requirements of working three work details in one year have been met.
The Board of Directors shall have authority to waive this last requirement upon presentation of convincing reason.

  • Applicants for membership and a sponsor must be present at the meeting when the application is submitted and voted upon.
  • The Board of Directors may waive this requirement.
