Junior Trap Training Program
 
    As with all Maspenock training programs Safety comes first.
Safe handling of a firearm is always the first part of a training program no matter the type of firearm.
Understanding how a firearm operates must be known by the student before it can be handled safely.
Maspenock instructors always have the safety of the student and others as first in mind.

    Trap Shooting is more of a challange and differs from
    other types of shooting in that:
  • the firearm has a greater target area
  • The firearm has a more forceful reaction when fired
  • and the target is moving rather than stationary as
    in other types of shooting events.



As shown in the pictue above Maspenock instructors are there guiding the students in the proper handling, aiming and firing of a firearm.

Trap shooting helps students to have better concentration and improves response and reaction times when firing at a moving target.

As with all our training programs both male and female students are always welcome.
